Title 63 and Title 78 Recodification Information
During the 2008 Legislative General Session, the Legislature passed H.B. 63, which recodified (renumbered and reorganized) Title 63, and H.B. 78, which recodified Title 78. Legislative Research and General Counsel prepared recodification tables for both titles to help users transition from the old numbering to the new numbering system. This is important to agencies, because each agency that has rules referencing statutes in Title 63 or Title 78 must file nonsubstantive changes to correct the references.
The Division prepared a slightly more printer-friendly version for the Title 63 recodification.
In October 2008, the Division also prepared a report that identified all of the rules that referenced Title 63 or Title 78. That is still available online.
