Section 4-31-21 authorizes the Department of Agriculture and Food to establish rules for the prevention and control of trichomoniasis in cattle and bison.

Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

The Cattleman's Association requested the testing of bulls for trichomoniasis, which causes infertility and abortion in cows. This rule establishes the requirements for this testing, and therefore, this rule should be continued.
