This rule is provided in accordance with Section 64-13c-301, et seq. As required by Subsection 64-13c-303(1)(b), the purpose of this rule is to establish procedures for the distribution of reimbursement from the program. As required by legislative intent language from the 2004 General Session, S.B. 1, Jail Reimbursement, lines 322 through 334. (DAR NOTE: S.B. 1 is found at UT L 2004 Ch 256, and was effective 03/02/2004.)

This rule provides the standards and procedures for the distribution of monies allocated by the Legislature to the Felony Probation Inmate Costs Reimbursement Program/Fund each year. Therefore, this should be continued.
