The Department of Health has the power under Sections 26-1-30 and 26-6-3 to require reporting for the control of diseases or health hazards.

Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

Continuation of this rule will identify causes of major injury which can be reduced or eliminated, thereby reducing morbidity and mortality.
