Section 62A-4a-905 requires the Department of Human Services to establish advisory committees in each region and defines the membership of the committees.

Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:
The adoption assistance committees provide a valuable resource for department staff and the public. The presence of this rule within the department rules ensures a consistency and impartiality that is important in creating fair outcomes for members of the public. In addition, current law clearly requires the Department create and make rules relating to these committees. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
