Section 34-40-105 gives the Utah Labor Commission authority to establish rules to administer the Utah Minimum Wage Act.

The Labor Commission continues to have jurisdiction over the minimum wage standards set forth in the Utah Minimum Wage Act. This rule implements the statute's requirement that employees in Utah receive at least the minimum wage amount for their work. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
