NOTICE OF REVIEW AND STATEMENT OF CONTINUATION

Concise explanation of the particular statutory provisions under which the rule is enacted and how these provisions authorize or require the rule:

Sections 9-12-101 to 9-12-204 authorize and promulgate provisions of the state Home Energy Assistance Target (HEAT) Program which provides energy assistance to low income households. The rule sets the guidelines for the program benefits of the HEAT Program.

Summary of written comments received during and since the last five-year review of the rule from interested persons supporting or opposing the rule:

No written comments were received.

Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

The rule is required to define program benefits guidelines for the HEAT Program. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
