Section 72-1-201 gives the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) the responsibility for road safety and the authority to make safety rules. Section 72-6-115 gives responsibility to UDOT to implement and administer traffic systems.

No written comments have been received.

Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

This rule helps to maintain safety on UDOT roads. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
