Section 41-6a-301 requires the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) to make rules regarding school crossing zones.

Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

The rule adopts by reference the Utah Traffic Controls for School Zones. The purpose of the adoption is to provide guidance, information, and standards that maintain and increase safety for school crossing zones. Without the rule, accidents and injuries would likely increase. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
