This rule is promulgated under authority of Subsection 4-2-2(l)(e) which authorizes issuing marketing orders to promote orderly market conditions for agricultural products.

Summary of written comments received during and since the last five-year review of the rule from interested persons supporting or opposing the rule:

No written comments have been received.

Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

The Utah sheep industry and the Department of Agriculture and Food both agree that this marketing order is of value to allow sheepmen to maximize their efforts in selling products (lambs and wool). Therefore, this rule should be continued.
