Subsections 53A-1-402(1)(d)(i), (ii), and (iii) direct the Utah State Board of Education to develop rules and minimum standards for state-reimbursed bus routes, bus safety and operational requirements, and other transportation needs.

Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

This rule continues to be necessary because it provides the standards and procedures, as required by state law, used for determination of funding and eligibility for student transportation. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
