This rule is authorized by several provisions of the Utah Code, specifically Subsections 63A-12-104(2) and 63G-2-204(2)(d), and Section 63G-3-201. These provisions authorize the promulgation of rules related to various aspects of managing and processing requests made pursuant to the Government Records Access and Management Act (GRAMA).

Summary of written comments received during and since the last five-year review of the rule from interested persons supporting or opposing the rule:

No comments have been received during and/or since the last five-year review.

Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

This rule provides valuable information to the public on required procedures associated with a request made under GRAMA and facilitates a streamlined process for receipt and processing of such requests. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
