Section 54-4-1 gives the Commission the authority and jurisdiction to supervise and regulate every public utility in this state, and to do all things necessary or convenient in the exercise of that power and jurisdiction.

No comments were received in the last five years.
Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:
This rule remains necessary to continue to monitor and regulate the direct or indirect advertising expenditures of utility companies and to ensure that they are in the public interest. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
