NOTICE OF REVIEW AND STATEMENT OF CONTINUATION
Concise explanation of the particular statutory provisions under which the rule is enacted and how these provisions authorize or require the rule:
The Division of Aging and Adult Services is mandated to create and maintain funding formulas for distribution of Older Americans Acts, Title III: Grants for State and Community Programs on Aging funds and State general funds for social and nutrition services which comply with 45 CFR, Subchapter C, Part 1321.37 and with Section 62A-3-108.
Summary of written comments received during and since the last five-year review of the rule from interested persons supporting or opposing the rule:
No written comments have been received.
Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:
This rule lays out the categories and weights of the components that make up the Division's funding formula. This information is required by both state and federal statutes. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
